It is also a good place for
\nthose who do not want to move every other day with a group of others and
\nsleep at a different place, as proposed by 95 percent of travel agencies.
\n
This is an ideal place for people who want to feel the real nature of
\nAfrica. Within just four days of my stay at Ndarakwai, I could see a couple
\nof gazelles grazing just two metres away from the terrace of my tent; during
\na dinner, three elephants were passing by the open dining hall in a distance
\nof some 50 metres; the following morning a herd of Sykes monkeys were
\npassing by the dining hall; and a couple of times I almost hit a young
\ngazelle crossing my way on the path leading to my tent.
\n
No electricity is available in tents; kerosene lamps or candles are used
\ninstead, which gives an authentic and romantic impression of tents and their
\nsurroundings. Batteries for cameras and computers can be charged at the
\nreception under a big sycamore tree where a solar energy generator is placed
\nalong with a WiFi connection.
\n
According to my estimate, you can spend up to four days at the camp without
\nbeing bored for a single minute.
\n
Tatiana Rebkova
\n","date":"February 03, 2009"}},"pageContext":{"id":"1d835284-a64e-515d-94dc-862766c2b2cb"}}}
