The economic capital Cotonou offers a variety of hotel and resort options from the tope end Hotel du Lac to a diversity of guesthouses and local Auberge. In either direction along the coast can be found a variety of accommodation options from splashy hotels to small lodges and campsites.

Further north the choice becomes progressively more limited, although reasonable accommodation exists in the W region, and of course all the major towns have comprehensive selections of hotels.
