Flights To Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is well served with international airports, with the nation’s main port of entry being Harare International Airport, and a secondary facility, Joshua Mqubuka Nkomo International Airport, situated in the second city of Bulawayo. The main tourist entrepót of Victoria Falls is also served by an international airport, while Hwange and Kariba towns have smaller, domestic airports that can, an occasionally do handle localise international traffic.

International flights to Harare International have been dwindling lately thanks to the nation’s increasing international isolation, but the capital is still well served by a number of local and outside carriers. The only direct European connection is on Air Zimbabwe direct to London/Gatwick, but the most frequently used route from Europe is on South African Airways via Johannesburg. South African Airways flies to and from a number of European, North American and world capitals, so this is generally accepted as being the best and most reliable service.

Air Zimbabwe also operates regular scheduled services to and from Brussels, Dubai, Guangzhou, Singapore and a number of regional international capitals.

Several regional carriers operate from Harare International Airport, serving mainly local/regional capitals, including Johannesburg, Maputo, Luanda, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Lilongwe and Gabarone.

A direct international flight to and from Johannesburg is also available from Victoria Falls International Airport.

Air Zimbabwe and South African Airways fly between Bulawayo, Victoria Falls and Johannesburg.

Scheduled internal domestic flights are available between Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls, Kariba and Hwange.
