Flights To Senegal

Senegal is served by just one international airport, the rather grandly named Dakar-Yoff-Léopold Sédar Senhor International Airport, named after the Senegalese poet, philosopher and politician Léopold Sédar Senhor who was Senegal’s first head of state after her interdependence from France.

The capital of Senegal, Dakar, is very well served by both local, regional and international connections. Some 28 airlines from all over the world operate direct of connected flights from Europe, the United States and the Middle East. The principal international connections are:

  • Air France from Paris
  • Iberian from Madrid and Las Palmas
  • TAP from Lisbon
  • Air Senegal from Paris and Marseilles

  • Air Senegal operates a direct link from Paris to Saint Louis in the north of Senegal and Cap Skirring in the southwest of the country. Other scheduled domestic flights are available from Dakar.

    A large number of local and pan-African carriers connect Dakar with most major local and regional capitals including Lagos, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Addis Ababa and Johannesburg.
