7 Day Mozambique Escape

MozambiqueThis trip combines the southern wilds of the Elephant Coast and the Maputo Elephant Reserve with the city of Maputo and a tour of the beach, reef and dive destinations of the southern Mozambique Coast.

The Maputo Elephant Reserve abuts the South African Tembe Elephant Park where the two combine to form the Lubombo TranFrontier Conservation area. This is an area of wetlands and coastal reserve adjoining an extensive hinterland of big game country. The southern coast of Mozambique offers rich opportunity for venture sports, diving, snorkelling and swimming with the dolphins. Maputo itself is one of the most interesting southern African cities with a heritage both of African and Portuguese influence. In music, food, wine and culture the city wears Latin flair over a hum of African life and energy.

Enjoy 4 star lodge and hotel accommodation as you explore the beaches, cities and backcountry of one of the oldest and most beautiful countries in the region.

12 Day Mozambique Dive Safari

Mozambique DhowWith the Agulhas current that flows down the 2 500 kilometers of coastline that is scattered with endless coral reefs and tropical beaches, Mozambique is a delight for scuba and snorkel divers.

With hundreds of kilometers of pristine coastline Mozambique is one of the few unexplored pleasures of the Indian Ocean and hosts a dazzling array of marine life. Due to the large expanse of coastline, Mozambique is unique in that it is not overcrowded with tourists. With the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean, water temperatures range from 22˚C in winter to 31˚C in summer and visibility is usually between five and 35 meters, with an average year round visibility of 20 meters.
