Niger is a bit of a backwater destination, and with two international airports, Diori Hamani International Airport serving Niamey, and Mano Dayak International Airport serving the second city of Agadez, it still does not enjoy an enormous selection of international connections.
The only direct European connection is offered by Air France from Paris to Niamey or Agadez, after which it is only possible to access the country via regional and neighboring capitals. Afriqiyah Airways flies direct to Niamey from Tripoli, Air Algérie From Algiers, Air Burkina from Ouagadougou and Royal Air Maroc from Casablanca.
Apart from private charter there is very limited potential for internal domestic flight.
