Flights To Mozambique

Mozambique has two main international airports, and a handful of resort facilities that also serve an international network, although only with local and regional reach. These are Maputo International Airport, Beira International Airport, Nampula Airport and Vilanculos Airport.

Surprisingly Mozambique is very poorly serviced by direct, international flights. The only direct European connection is via TAP from Lisbon, after which the only practical way to access the country is via her regional neighbors. From Maputo International Airport the main connection is via Johannesburg, and this route is served mainly by LAM Mozambique Airlines, South African Airways and TAP.

Similarly direct flights from Johannesburg are available to Beira International Airport on South African Airways, and to Nampula and Vilancoulos on Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique. Several other smaller charter and local airlines serve thiese destinations, and if you fail to find and easy connection to almost anywhere in Mozambique from South Africa you are not looking hard enough.

Further to this regular connections fly into the main airports from Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Tanzania.
