Flights to Kenya

Kenya has two international airports serving passenger traffic – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, and Moi International Airport in Mombassa. The country is also extremely well served by smaller domestic airports with a wide and accessible network of internal and domestic tourism charters and flights.

These two international airports support domestic, regional and international flights to and from Kenya. The main national transport hub and port of entry is Jomo Kenyatta Airport which is served by over 30 airlines, with many international, domestic and regional carriers offering links to most major destinations. The main Kenyan seaport of Mombasa is served by Moi Airport that is supported by some 15 airlines, and connects much of Europe with direct flights to Kenya and the wider region.

Daily flights to Kenya from the U.S.A leave from John F Kennedy Airport via London, Amsterdam or Dubai, depending on the airline you choose. The main airlines serving this route are British Airways, KLM, Emirates Airlines, Qatar Air, Kenya Airlines and Swissair.

Daily flights to Kenya from Europe are also available from London, Amsterdam and Zurich. British Airways flies directly from Heathrow Airport in London to Nairobi. The main airlines serving this route are the same as above, with others, such as Virgin-Atlantic, Martainair, Corsairfly and Brussels Airlines offering charter routes directly to Nairobi or Mombasa.

It is also possible to secure direct flights to Kenya from Asia, the Far East and Australia, although flights from Sydney are usually routed via Singapore or Dubai. Airlines serving the far east connection are Kenya Airways, Air India, Emirates Airlines and Qatar Air.
