There are three international airports Gabon. These are Libreville Leon M’ba International Airport, M’Vengue El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba International Airport serving the port city of Franceville and Port-Gentil International Airport.
The only viable inter-continental connection with Gabon is via Europe. The two main flights are Air France via Paris and Gabon Airlines from Marseilles and Paris.
There are several regional connections including Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa, Air Ivoire from Abidjan, Interair South Africa from Johannesburg, Royal Air Maroc from Casablanca, South African Airways from Johannesburg and Virgin Nigeria from Lagos.
A handful of local domestic airlines offer a comprehensive service to some 34 individual regional airports and landing facilities.
