Flights To Cameroon

Cameroon is served by two international airports, the larger of the two being Douala International Airport situated six miles outside the city of Douala, and the smaller Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport situated adjacent to the capital.

Although ostensibly the country’s second city, Douala is the commercial capital and a more important economic center. The international Airport is served mainly by regional and pan-African connections, but several flights connect the country with Europe, including Air France from Paris/ Charles de Gaulle, Brussels Airlines from Brussels, Swissair from Zürich and Turkish Airlines from Istanbul.

Several important regional connections include Bellview Airlines from Johannesburg, Kenya Airways from Nairobi and Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa. Besides these a number of regional and local operators fly between Duala and most of the main West, Central and Eastern African capitals.

From Yaoundé International Airport the same European connections are avaialbe as well as a handful of regional destinations.

A reasonably reliable domestic scheduled service is run by Cameroon Airways.
