Accommodation in Serengeti is provided by the Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp, and in the Ngorongoro Crater Reserve by the lovely Serena Ngorongoro Lodge, situated on the eastern rim of the Crater, and poised to catch the sunrise on one of the most beautiful views in the world. Activities include evening and morning game drives and a complete overland exploration of Serengeti, including a dawn balloon safari as an optional extra.

Day 1: Arrive KLM from Amsterdam and Dar es Salaam, collection and transfer to Serena Mountain Village Lodge in Arusha.

Day 2: Air transfer to Serengeti, and evening accommodation at Mbusi Mawe Tented Camp.

Day 3: A full day spent exploring the Serengeti National Park, returning in the evening for a second night at Mbusi Mawe tented Camp.

Day 4: Transfer overland to the Grumeti River area of northern Serengeti and the Serengeti Eco-Lodge complex of tented camps situated along the Western Corridor.

Day 5: Transfer south through the Serengeti, with most of the day spent exploring the park en route to the southern gate and the Ngorongoro Crater Reserve. Evening accommodation at the Serena Ngorongoro Lodge situated on the western crater rim.

Day 6: Morning exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater wildlife area, continuing south to Karatu and the lovely Gibbs Farm Guest House situated on the southern slopes of the Crater Highlands.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and the Eunoto Lodge, with the afternoon spent exploring this unique wildlife destination.

Day 8: Morning spent relaxing at the lodge before departure and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
